I have logged in to Moodle successfully but I cannot find any of my modules. What can I do?

If you cannot find your modules there could be a few possibilities:

    1. It might take Moodle a couple of hours to reflect new information added to the student registry system. If you have just registered you may need to wait until later on in the day to see your modules being reflected in Moodle
    2. Have you changed your course? Did you have a change of mind and change to another module or course? If you did so and did not tell Registration about this change Moodle will not reflect this change of mind. Please let computer services know and then Moodle will be updated.
    3. If you still experience problems and all your details are correct and up to date you should email for help at pmoffatt@stacs.edu.ie

    Where can I access Moodle?

You can access Moodle from any computer with Internet access on or off campus.

Can I print my lecture notes?

You can print lecture notes as you print any resource. Select print from the file menu.

I am having difficulty viewing documents in Moodle. What can I do?

Make sure that the computer you are using has the software you need - Moodle is best viewed with Firefox, Netscape version 7 or above, or Internet Explorer version 4 or above. If you are attempting to view a MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint document for example make sure that the computer you are viewing has Microsoft Office. If you do not have Microsoft Office installed on your computer you can download a viewer from the following website http://www.microsoft.com/office/000/viewers.asp If you are viewing a .pdf file you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader Software (download free from www.adobe.com).
